About Us

Hey there! We’re Lori and Jeremy. If you’re considering adoption, in the middle of one, or already adopted, this site is for you. When we started the adoption process back in 2012, we had no idea where to begin. When it came to funding our adoption, we were even more clueless. We decided just to jump in head first and were determined to figure it out. After countless hours of online research and reading blogs, we created a plan and system to fund our adoption and successfully raised more than $47,000 to adopt debt-free. Through our own personal experience, along with helping our friends and other adoptive families, we believe we’ve compiled some of the best tools and resources that empower families to adopt without debt.

Our Passion

As we went through the adoption process, we became increasingly frustrated that adoption resources were scattered all over the Internet. Fund Your Adoption was developed with 3 objectives:

1. To provide every resource we can think of in one location to help families adopt without debt.

2. To share success stories and encourage other adoptive families. Adoption fundraising isn’t nearly as scary when you know other families that did it too.

3. To collaborate with leaders in the adoption community and facilitate honest discussion about adoption. We CAN do it better and our children deserve it!

We hope our “experiment” helps you fund your adoption! If so, tell us about it. We’d love to share your story with the rest of the adoption tribe.

Giving Back

Every child deserves a permanent, loving family. Dreaming, networking and collaborating together will enable us to accomplish more than any individual or organization can accomplish alone. We are simply better together!

Our goal is to give away $100,000 in grants to 100 adoptive families within 5 years. We haven’t figured out how we’re going to do it, but we’re working on it!
